The MicroLaser Peel

Often known as ‘the weekend skin peel’, the MicroLaser Peel, uses a state of the art laser to help treat conditions such as wrinkles, acne scars, sun spots, skin lesions and uneven skin texture. These laser treatments improve the overall texture of your skin as well as removing fine lines and wrinkles, so you can see the results and notice a difference in just a few days.

Deeper peels can eliminate smoker’s lines around the mouth, lift and tighten your eyelids, and remove an extra 10 years from your appeara

The MicroLaser Peel Procedure

It is an inter-epidermal laser peel that precisely ablates the outermost layers of the skin. The procedure is individually customized for the type of skin condition that is being corrected. Skin conditions such as wrinkles, scars, acne scars, keratoses, or pigmentation problems – have all been very successfully treated with a MicroLaserPeel.

Who Should Consider a MicroLaserPeel?

If you are looking for something more powerful than microdermabrasion or light chemical peels, but have little time for a prolonged healing process, then the MicroLaserPeel was designed for you.

How MicroLaserPeel Differs From Microdermabrasion

Generally, microdermabrasion only removes the stratum corneum (10 microns). The MicroLaserPeel is a partial to full epidermal peel (20 to 50 microns) and is performed with a topical anesthetic. Because this procedure ablates deeper into the epidermis, it is the perfect treatment level between microderabrasion and full skin resurfacin

The Number of Micro Laser Peels Needed

Typically the procedure is repeated 2 to 4 times, spaced six to eight weeks apart, but many peels may be done to achieve the desired result. You can expect smoother, healthier, more vibrant skin, with a significant, immediate change in skin texture and tightness in contrast with microdermabrasion.

Healing Time

Healing takes 3 to 4 days. The procedure can be performed on a Thursday or Friday so you can return to work the following Monday. Symptoms following the procedure resemble sunburn with minor sloughing on the second day. Redness will begin to fade by the third day, and can easily be covered by makeup on the fourth day.
